Jam out at sea to the greatest disco anthems as Ultimate Disco Cruise and Beyond returns for a fifth year in 2025. The six-night cruise is an immersive, nonstop music festival with legendary music acts performing and hosting events throughout Norwegian Pearl. The round-trip itinerary from Miami includes port stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico. Wrestling and rock fans will love this Sixthman cruise with wrestler and musician Chris Jericho. For the fifth installment of Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea, cruisers will sail on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Gem from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. There will be multiple stages for performances throughout the ship.
Cloud 9 Spa Ocean View (Walkway View)
This extraordinary ship marks the end of Carnival's longtime interior architect Joe Farcus, and he goes out in style. While cruisers might still expect neon and mirrored surfaces, his touch is limited, as far as other designers were also hired. This is the reason why there is a lighting refinement to many of the places, including the main dining rooms, the sun deck and especially Serenity adults-only area. On Carnival Magic, Deluxe Ocean View staterooms are a great choice for families who want to let the sun shine in as they sail.
There’s also a casino, if that’s more in line with the type of entertainment you prefer. You enjoy access to complimentary entertainment, such as theatrical shows, game shows, children’s events, live music and comedy sets. Of course, you get access to all the fun outdoor attractions, like the ropes course and water park.

Another pool sits on the opposite side of the ship, and is preferred by families and children. You can pretty much always rely on Carnival to provide you with plenteous entertainment over the course of your cruise, and that’s certainly the case when you’re aboard Carnival Magic. In terms of free dining, you get, as mentioned, the complimentary access to the two main dining rooms, where you’ll enjoy standard cruising fare — soup, salad, entree and dessert. At the buffet, you can find a wealth of international and American options, with something for everyone, really. When planning a cruise, it’s always nice to know what exactly is included in the price of your cabin fare.
These staterooms feature all the same amenities as other Interior staterooms, with a different layout - including one Twin bed, and either an upper Pullman or sofa bed. They also feature linens from the Carnival Comfort Collection, a full private bathroom and more. Carnival Magic weighs in at 128,048 GT, with a length of 1,005 feet and 14 passenger decks, and 17 decks total.

Within the ship you’ll find ample opportunities to watch dazzling shows, take part in fun game shows, try your luck at the casino, and much more. You'll also be among the first to be alerted about future sailings. The rates for the 2025 cruise start at $1,630 per person for an inside cabin.
The bar is complimentary and via a partnership with Guy Fieri (running also the “Guy’s Burger Joint” on Lido deck). Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse is an open-air restaurant for a variety of BBQ favorites. The menu features pork butt, blue ribbon chicken, sliced smoked beef, Guy Fieri's traditional sides, and gourmet burgers, a variety of BBQ sauces, hot sauce bar.
Options include a pair of two-deck-high main restaurants, an elegant steakhouse, an expansive two-level indoor/outdoor buffet serving everything imaginable to savor. Also featured onboard are venues for sushi, Asian cuisine, hot dogs, tacos and burritos. Bite into a complimentary fresh hand-tossed pizza whenever you have the craving as they are offered 24/7. The two formal dining rooms on Carnival Magic are the Southern Lights and the smaller Northern Lights. For those who like laughter with their food, is the Punchliner Comedy Brunch, taking place in the Spotlight Lounge only on sea days. The real foodies who are curious about how the galley feeds so many people, have to check out Chef's Table.
The cruise will feature days filled with concerts, artist Q&A sessions, panel discussions and game shows. The ship features five different venues where notable country acts like Old Crow Medicine Show, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and Carlene Carter will perform. Along with endless concerts, passengers can enjoy activities like yoga classes and film screenings. As mentioned, the entire Carnival Dream class was impressively big at the time of launch, but that’s not the case now. Modern cruisers enjoy much larger vessels than these ships, which are now basically considered mid-range.

Magical evenings will also take you to a comedy club, a piano bar, a place to listen to jazz, a casino, disco and more.
Due to scheduled drydock refurbishment projects, in September 2020 CCL canceled all planned for 2020 and 2021-Q1 itineraries for 4 ships. Carnival Magic itinerary program in 2022 was based on homeporting in Port Canaveral-Orlando (Florida). In 2023, the liner was homeported in Miami Florida and also offered voyages from Norfolk Virginia. Summer 2023 season from Norfolk VA was CCL's longest (6 months/May 14th thru October 22nd) since 2002. Carnival Magic's previously scheduled homeporting in NYC (to Bermuda) was canceled in Nov 2022. Prior to the COVID crisis, Carnival Magic was homeported in Galveston TX for 7-day roundtrips to the Bahamas, Eastern, and Western Caribbean.

Big and beautiful, Carnival Magic is a floating resort, with a half-mile outdoor promenade deck that includes an indoor/outdoor entertainment area that stretches from one side of the ship to the other. Here you may melt your cares away in supersized hot tubs that are cantilevered out over the edge of the ship. Daily light shows can be enjoyed on a gigantic outdoor movie screen at the theater, as well as films and concerts.
While it doesn’t discourage me from cruising on this ship again, I would suggest not waiting until you are starving to decide to eat. Another themed party night is the White Hot Night Party hosted by the cruise director. Check your Fun Times or the Carnival Hub app for the brewery tour dates and times if this is of interest to you. You can access it from inside the pub or from the outside of deck 5. Spa day and weekly passes are available for the relaxation areas of the Cloud 9 Spa.

The deck chairs around the pool and the upper decks fill up quite fast, especially on sea days. There are plenty of ways to let go while your ship is on the go. Plop down in a spacious deck chair by the pool and enjoy the view, or enjoy some adult-only time in the Serenity relaxation area, complete with whirlpool and chair-side service. It’s where young teens ages 12 to 14 go to hang out, meet new friends, and enjoy some pretty awesome activities like dance parties, games, outdoor movies and more, in the special Circle “C” area or around the ship. It’s all supervised by friendly and fun-loving counselors who want your young teens to have the best vacation ever.

Even if you start your Carnival Vista® cruise from Galveston as a land lover, it won’t take long to absolutely fall in love with the warm ocean breezes and endless blue horizons. These outdoor activities are just a sampling of what you’ll find during your cruise vacation to quicken your pulse, melt into relaxation, and create memories impossible to outlive. Carnival cruise ships do NOT have conditioner in the stateroom bathrooms. The showers do have shampoo and shower gel dispensers but not conditioner.

We've taken the best parts and brought them poolside with the RedFrog Rum Bar, where the frog keeps the fun hopping day and night with all the island flava you know and love. Join the party at this poolside bar featuring a great selection of frog-approved Caribbean rum-based concoctions available by the glass or pitcher, plus plenty of Carnival’s signature private-label draft beer, ThirstyFrog Red. BlueIguana Tequila Bar is the onboard spot to chill and enjoy a slushy tequila drink or an ice-cold Mexican cerveza. "Family Zone" with Family Harbor Staterooms & Suites were introduced on Carnival Vista and can accommodate up to five guests. Retreat to your own oasis at the new Havana Cabana Suites, with a rain shower in the bathroom and private outdoor patio where you can sink into comfy lounge chairs and enjoy the sea breeze from a hammock.
Get ready to relax as you gaze upon Carnival Vista's gentle wake from your spacious balcony. Rooms of this type feature great views, a full bathroom — plus a separate washroom — and while stateroom configurations vary, certain Deluxe Ocean View rooms have space to sleep up to five cruisers. As you’ll find on most cruise ships, Carnival Vista offers both a spa and a fitness center. The nautical-themed suite is a little more upscale than some of the other available staterooms and features a large bathroom, big bed, extra seating and a large, lengthy balcony. And, yes, you can track down a veggie burger on the pool deck and load it up from the Guy’s Burger Joint toppings bar – just like the meat eaters in your travel party. You don’t need to bust your budget to enjoy dining variety on Carnival Vista. Even its date-night venues have lower cover charges than extra-fee restaurants on other cruise lines. In May 2017, CCL created a tropical-flavored draft beer via a partnership with the Miami-based Concrete Beach Brewery. The special beer is served exclusively at the "RedFrog Pub and Brewery" on Carnival Vista - the first brewery found on a North America-based cruise liner. The new Miami Guava Wheat Beer was hand-crafted by Colin Presby (brewmaster on the shipboard brewery) and made with best ingredients.

Aft of the Lido Marketplace is Pizzeria del Capitano, the ship’s 24-hour pizzeria. It’s flanked by the Seafood Shack, where cruisers pay extra for clam chowder, lobster rolls, and other New England-style seafood dishes. The Lido Marketplace is Carnival Vista’s pool deck buffet venue, where stations remain self-serve, even with other Covid-19 precautions in place shipwide.
There's room for you and your things - with a large room and balcony - and a walk-in closet. The soothing in-room whirlpool tub will help you stay relaxed after your relaxing spa treatment. And like all suites, a Cloud 9 Spa Suite features VIP check-in, which lets you easily get right up to your amazing stateroom. Ocean Suites also include VIP check-in, walk-in closet and bathroom with whirlpool. The vessel's steel-cutting ceremony was in February 2014, and its keel was laid in October.

We must warn you, however, that the word is definitely out on JiJi Asian Kitchen® – so make reservations ahead of time to make sure you don’t miss out on this incredible culinary experience. There aren’t too many settings as lively and vivid as a casino.
